Welcome to our 30 Day Gratitude Challenge! I must admit, I don’t mind putting up twinkle lights before Thanksgiving, but I do always try to concentrate a little more on gratitude during the month of November. As Christians, we need to be cultivating a year-round heart of gratitude – even during this year of a pandemic. Perhaps especially during this year of a pandemic. 😉
We have a pdf for you that contains 2 pages – the first is the 30 Day Gratitude Challenge grid. And the second is a list of 30 prompts that you can creatively use several different ways. You can assign each square on the grid with a number that corresponds to the list. Or you can simply use the list as a guide of suggestions, you know, in case you get stuck sometimes. =) Or you can use only the first page and make up your own rules! (I’m not the boss of you. 😉 ) You may even want to get everyone in your family involved in making their own chart and then post them in a prominent place on Thanksgiving Day.

Feel free to play a sort of Bingo with them – but just know that HOWEVER you fill out this Gratitude Challenge, you’ll almost certainly be the winner. 😉 Whenever we count our blessings, we are exponentially happier!
Remember, though, that this list isn’t just a way to count those blessings and get a warm & fuzzy feeling inside – we are using this activity to creatively give thanks to our God, the giver of ALL good things. So record your blessings and then don’t forget to pray your prayers of thanksgiving!
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
James 1:17
P.S. Don’t forget that this month’s Scripture writing theme is Hospitality – it’s not too late to join in!
