Hello, ladies! We’ve been self-isolating for almost 2 months now in some areas of the U.S. “With everything going on,” life just feel uncertain and in many cases, we are grieving the life we once knew. It feels like things will never go back to “normal,” even though the country is trying to make steps towards opening back up. (I’m referencing the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, if you’re reading this years later.) Our scheduled May scripture writing topic this month is A Spirit of Modesty. But we decided to give you ladies 2 options this time because it really seems like the topic of Trusting God in the Storm is timely and needed. (If you’re here looking for the May 2021 Scripture Writing Plan, here you go!)
So here’s the plan: Choose either plan – or choose both. 🙂 I mean, if you have extra time on your hands these days, WHAT BETTER WAY to spend it than in God’s Word?? I have felt such peace and joy lately because of the amount of time I am spending with God. Whether it’s binge-listening to podcasts, lessons, or sermons online – or doing scripture writing – or listening to an a cappella playlist on Spotify – or doing memory work – or reading Psalms out loud on our back porch…well, the more I’m in His Word, the more I long for more of God. It does my heart good.
Trusting God in the Storm
I cannot overstate the fact that trust in God is found in conversing with Him, hearing His voice and thoughts through His written word and speaking back to Him through prayer. Yeah, yeah, yeah…we hear that all the time. 😉 BUT IT’S TRUE. I’m proof. 😉 I’ve had some anxiety on this emotional roller coaster early on, but I’m consistently reminded through God’s Word that HE is in control and He will work everything for good for us. And the last few weeks, those anxious moments are few and far between. It’s kind of amazing. 😉
The first half of the month, we will concentrate on Trusting God in the Storm. We will be putting out graphics, a lesson, and journaling questions here on the blog. 🙂
A Spirit of Modesty
The last week of May we will catch up with our second topic on A Spirit of Modesty – we will actually host a Bible study on our Teachable platform. It will include graphics, worksheets, and 4 lessons with journaling questions for each of them. 🙂 This is a topic we meant to do last year but ran out of time. Of course, heading into summer is a great time to talk about modesty (especially with your young and teenage daughters) but we will also be talking about more than just shorts or swim suits. We need to study our behaviors and attitudes and figure out whether these are God-glorifying or not.
I’m really excited for May and we look forward to studying with you ladies! Which one are you most excited about?

Hello Dorris! We have updated the post with file downloads. Thank you for your patience!
Good morning!
I purchased the Scripture Writing Plan from Etsy but didn’t like the calendar form. I was so happy to see you offered it in the “traditional list form” with the lovely trim.
I can’t find it today.

Hello Cindy! We will be providing that one later on (possibly today!). As of right now, the List Version of “Trusting God in the Storm” has been made available. Thank you for your patience!
I can’t find them either, the link to print them out, that is!
