Do you ever have those days (or weeks… or months) when it seems you’re on a hamster wheel of negative thoughts? I’m not good enough. Why doesn’t that person like me? Ugh, they’re so fake. I just don’t like people right now. Lord, why is everything so hard? Sisters, being spiritually minded means recognizing that we are in a spiritual battle. The devil is attacking you, and he will use all the ugly thoughts and emotions you have to do it. We have to be prepared to fight back and rely on the One who can fight for us. That brings us to April’s Scripture Writing Theme: Spiritual Warfare.

BATTLES WITHOUT AND WITHIN
If you’ve been following the news at all, you know about the war going on in Ukraine. It’s heartbreaking to see the unnecessary suffering and devastation. Congregations across the world have been sending supplies, money, and countless prayers on behalf of the Ukrainian people. Tragedies like this remind us of our mortality and the broken, sinful world in which we live.
Earthly battles hit us hard. But sometimes we minimize the invisible battles. Those spiritual battles waged, not in cities or in trenches, but in the hearts and souls of men. Those battles with eternal consequences.
Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
If we are not warriors for Christ, we’ll become casualties of Satan. Our prayer is that by writing through God’s Word, we can be better prepared to engage in spiritual warfare.
To go along with this month’s Scripture writing plan, we’re offering an UPDATED version of one of our older studies, Dealing with the Devil. In this series, you’ll get five impactful lessons, including:

- The Works of the Devil
- The Best Defense Is a Good Offense
- The Power of the Devil
PLUS, you’ll also get a mini-set of graphic goodies, worksheets (including some for your kids!), and printable bookmarks to go along with the theme.

I am already a member. I have been getting the emails for several months. I was able to print the scripture writing plans for the first couple of months and now I can’t get it to let me click to enlarge to print. i can’t login if that’s what it’s waiting for me to do. I wouldn’t be getting the email if I were not a member. I have been doing a scripture writing plan for years and the writer is taking a break so I saw yours and liked it. Please help me get it fixed!!!!
Hi, Bo! Thanks for joining us in the Scripture Writing Plan! I’m so sorry you’re having difficulties enlarging the file. Are you accessing the plan via email? If so, perhaps you might try accessing it through the blog post. The link there will directly send you to a Dropbox file, which can be printed. I hope that solves your problem!
Excited!!
Yay, Theresa! We are, too!
