We’re excited to announce our brand new Bible study tools that we’ve added to our Etsy shop for 2022! This will be the second year we’ve created the Scripture Writing wall calendars (though we’ve done other calendars before) and the fifth year we’ll have our Faith Journals (the journals have definitely evolved through the years!) This time we’re adding a set of lovely Flourish Scripture cards for displaying in your home or office. (Just look at the cuteness…I’m obsessed!)

One of our favorite things to create as a team is our Scripture Writing plans. We divide up the themes and search for the best 31 passages (so you can actually use them ANY month) – and then we discuss and tweak them. And then we add flowers! 😉 It’s both a lovely creative process but also a deep dive into Biblical subject matter for each month’s theme. It takes some time, but I LOVE IT. And the thing is, y’all love it, too! Our scripture writing plans are consistently the most popular items on the blog and in our Etsy shop. When we decided to add the scripture writing plans TO the calendar pages last year, it was a match made in heaven. 💗 {Perhaps literally.} You ladies love helpful-and-beautiful Bible study tools and we are honored to be able to create them for you.
The year’s overall theme is Flourish. It’s a word that I just love – it’s so descriptive to me! It means “growing luxuriantly,” the very opposite of struggling or staying the same. Being at a standstill is actually going backwards, becoming stagnant, especially when it comes to our faith. We want to continually move forward in our Christian journey and focus on growing, blooming, and thriving.
The 2022 Flourish Faith Journal is going to help guide you in the right direction…to thrive in your faith, not just survive. This journal will be the same larger format as last year – not only will it be the perfect place to do your scripture writing, but it will prompt you to get your spiritual life organized. From monthly personal reflection questions to our Powerful Prayers spread, a place to record favorite current scriptures, a spot to take sermon notes, and finishing up with some creativity or coloring pages, we’ve got you covered.
This year we have the wall calendars and journals ready for you here at the beginning of November. We wanted to be sure everyone had plenty of time to order them for Christmas gifts (and for themselves as well!) It makes me smile when I see orders come in with multiples of calendars or journals…that means someone is spreading the joy by gifting these beauties to their sweet friends and family members. Last year we also heard of several customers purchasing calendars for their Secret Sisters. So fun! I foresee that the 4×4 Flourish Scripture cards will be a great new gift item as well.
We are already getting messages asking when the digital pdfs of the Scripture Writing plans will be available in the Etsy shop. We will have those ready during the first week of December, Lord willing! Also – there won’t be a separate year-long Bible study, BUT we have some fun new ideas up our sleeves for you, so stay tuned. 😉 One monthly study we WILL have will be in March on the theme of Her Story, His Glory. The past couple of years you might have noticed that March has become Women’s History month – or Herstory month, I think some call it? Her Story, His Glory will be focused on the biblical answer to that cultural phenomenon…and I can’t wait to tackle it!
