February is the Month of Love. ๐ And I do love it all – the pink & red hearts, the delicious chocolates, the beautiful flowers…my sentimental heart always enjoys the big and small gestures of sweetness during this month. So, as a nod to that, we always have a Scripture writing theme for February that centers somehow on LOVE – which is a huge Biblical theme, of course – and we have lots of fun with the graphics. (#surprise!) This month’s theme is God’s Love Language – and if you haven’t run across the popular phrase “love language” before, well, it boils down to how one recognizes and receives love.
There are 5 love languages that renowned author Gary Chapman introduced in his original book (which I HIGHLY recommend – marriage-changing, for sure) and now there are 11 books in this series (one for singles, for children, for teenagers, even grieving parents, and members of the military). {Those are affiliate links – I may receive a small commission if you purchase anything through my links – at no extra cost to you.}
Of course we’ll talk much more about what “love language” means, its implications, and its high importance when applying it to God (the origin of love) in our current Glorify Bible study. If you haven’t joined yet, we would love if you just jumped right in there with us! I promise you won’t be behind – you can totally start with February. ๐
But truly, if you’re reading this before February 1st, you can even quickly catch up this weekend – short-course style – on the Glorify theme for January. ๐ NEW PERK: at the end of every month, I’ll make ALL of the lessons and any activities/worksheets into a workbook. This means you can print it all out at once! (January’s is already uploaded!) So basically, you’re getting two options:
1) you can proceed through each Bible study theme as a month-long course, taking your time and drawing it out…
OR
2) you can wait for the workbook version to drop and you can download & print it, along with the pretty graphics set, and then sit down for a huge Bible study time
I’m excited about BOTH options, because I often alternate how I study! Sometimes spread out over days & weeks and sometimes in a big chunk, all at once. I figure you might, too?
You can buy the 12-month course for $55 – or for 12 monthly payments of $8 each – or you can even gather several friends (doesn’t matter how many!) to split the group rate of $250. (Don’t forget – if you purchased our 2021 Scripture Writing Calendar + Glorify Faith Journal set, you got a code for $15 off! And as of today, there are 3 of those sets left…and they’re on sale…)
It all starts with our Scripture Writing Plans and expands from there with lessons, graphics (see pic above), journaling questions, and worksheets. You can download the February Scripture writing plan here for FREE: God’s Love Language Scripture Writing Plan. (You can also buy all 12 months to have them at your fingertips – or of course, they’re ALL included in the Glorify Bible study) No matter what you choose, we can’t wait to have you follow along with us! ๐! ~Kristen
Is the Day 3 scripture correct, because 1 Samuel 5 doesn’t have 22 verses?
Ahhhhh!!!!! So glad you caught that, Rosemary! It’s actually supposed to be 1 Samuel 15 instead. Fixing it now!
Thanks for clarifying!
Is there a reason why there are more days here than there are in February?
Hey, Christina! I should’ve noted that in the post – I forgot to in this particular one. ๐ Every Scripture writing plan that we publish now has 31 days so that you can use it for ANY month. =)
