Shhhhh…here’s a secret: if you make Glorify your “Word of the Year” for 2021, it won’t matter what else happens this upcoming year. It could be the same (or even worse) than 2020 has been. {Lord willing, it won’t be!} When I say “same” or “worse,” you know I’m referencing all of these worldwide pandemic things, mostly beyond our control. I’m referencing difficult race issues and I’m definitely also referencing a presidential race – and the aftermath – that has been ugly at best. IT’S BEEN QUITE A YEAR. But our January Scripture writing plan and corresponding Bible study can absolutely flip the script.
Our very highest calling as Christians is to glorify our God and Creator, also glorifying his Son, Jesus. That’s why I chose “Glorify” as my Word of the Year last year – and I am actively choosing it again this year. I fully believe it can be a Christian’s Word of the Year ANY and EVERY year. Sure, there are other wonderful ones – rejoice and contentment and peace are good ones that come to mind. Yes, yes, and yes. But somehow Glorify is all encompassing in a different way.
You might choose any other positive word that you’re drawn to, but it should always point back to Glorify. In fact, we have 11 other themes from February to December to look forward to – and they all fit beautifully under the Glorify umbrella. π
We’d love if you joined our newest Bible study launching this Friday! It’s called Glorify: A Year in Our Highest Calling. (You can get a $15 off coupon when you purchase our Scripture Writing wall calendar & Glorify Faith Journal set.) This study promises to guide you along each month, with 4 lessons – one each week – and beautiful themed Scripture graphics (phone & computer wallpapers, Facebook headers, and social media squares) to help cement God’s Word into your mind. You’ll also have access to the monthly Scripture plans, printable journaling questions, helpful worksheets, a printable each month, and access to a private Facebook group, along with some surprises. π
Here are the monthly themes for 2021:
January – Glorify
February – God’s Love Language
March – Abide
April – Pride & Perfection
May – Godly Friendship
June – The Great Creator
July – Unity
August – Forgiveness
September – Submission
October – Abundance
November – Contentment
December – Jesus in the Gospels
Another huge perk of purchasing the Glorify Bible study is that it will include the materials from our popular Spiritual Goal Planning course! This will actually be available for you as a downloadable workbook (called God-Glorifying Goal Planning) for the first time – and it will have new & updated details. Here’s a few testimonials from ladies who have taken this course in the past:
“This course was so easy to accomplish and that in itself was encouraging to me. So excited about my written plans for the year! It has been awhile since I’ve actually sat down and put on paper goals for the year and held myself accountable. So ready to grow, pray and share with others. So thankful for all the worksheets and tools you’ve provided to help me! Thank you!!!” – Tammy B.
“This is the first time I have been presented with the idea of spiritual goal planning. It’s something I think I’ve always tried to mentally do but couldn’t get my head organized. I love this pen and paper approach to really nail down and visualize what I want to achieve. Thanks for providing such an amazing tool and useful guides!” – Leann G.
“I highly recommend the Spiritual Goal Planning Course to any Christian lady who is seriously dedicated to seeing her goals and plans for the year fulfilled! In the past I have struggled with finding ways to accomplish the spiritual and personal goals I had set for myself and my family, but thanks to this course from the ladies of The Ruffled Mango, I know now to PRAYERFULLY consider specific goals and to take small steps throughout the year to turn my goals into my accomplishments. I loved the printable sheets that have helped me to reflect on the previous year, and that have aided me in putting my goals into a functional plan of action. This Spiritual Goal Planning Course also makes good use The Ruffled Mango’s Faith Planner, which has been such a beneficial tool in my spiritual life. This course is a blessing!” -Jessica D.
