Can you feel it in the air? Election season has started. 🥴 The past several election cycles have brought all kinds of unpleasantness between political parties, many arguments resulting in downright chaos online. Sadly, we’ve seen Christians act in ways unbecoming of the name they wear. Maybe we’ve even gotten distracted & frustrated by these things ourselves, so all the more reason to start reminding each other where our true allegiance lies – in the Kingdom of Heaven. 💗 As a different kind of citizen, we’re held to a higher standard, but we’re also called to respect our earthly governments and officials, even if we disagree with them. After all, God put them into place Himself, for His own reasons. When we become citizens of Heaven, we’re asked to put our full trust in His decisions – He alone knows the big picture.
Think on that a minute. Do you trust Him?
If you can’t answer that question positively & immediately, this new scripture writing plan will help. We’ll be setting our minds on the true Source of all good things, our only Savior, the only One we can fully depend on. We’ll also be reminded of our higher calling and encouraged to stay the course, to endure to the end, to gain our place as citizens of Heaven.
We hope you’ll share this Citizens of Heaven scripture writing plan with your friends & church family! We all need to remember these truths consistently, but especially when we’re tempted to think that this physical life is all there is. If you do share our plan, would you do us a favor and share the link to this blog post, please? 😊 We would love for newbie scripture writers to find our other resources as well. 🥰
