I know, I know…it’s a cheery topic for heading into the holidays. 😉 Somehow though, it seems to fit, as we often come face-to-face with our troubled pasts & difficult people & sad situations during this time of year. In addition, the stress we sometimes feel (and usually bring upon ourselves, if you’re like me) can contribute to a cycle of Sin & Suffering in our lives. But it’s not all bad news…in fact, there is some Very Good News that battles this unfortunate predicament we often find ourselves in.
As Christy said, “As we study sin and suffering this month, let’s recognize that God has taken lemons (our sin problem and the suffering that comes with it) and made lemonade (our sanctification, ability to relate, empathize, and comfort – 1 Peter 4 & 5).
We must recognize our sin, make necessary changes, and move forward, endeavoring to walk in light (1 John 1). And when we do suffer (and suffer we will in this fallen world), we rejoice in having a glimpse of what our Savior endured while on earth. What evil Satan meant to hurt us, we use to bring us closer to Christ and to depend on God’s strength and wisdom, not our own.” ❤️
As we prepare for November’s scripture writing, I just want to drop you a quick reminder about all the NEW Scripture Writing Tools for 2025! Do you have yours yet?? I’m *loving* to see all the far-flung places around the U.S. that these scripture writing calendars and Unshaken journals and digital writing plans and scripture cards and stickers and shirts are heading to! And when there are multiples in an order, it makes me happy to think that some of those goodies are probably being gifted to loved ones. 🥰 The best kind of gift, in my book! Yes, a scarf or candle or mug is great (and those are some of my favorite cozy things), but there’s nothing like knowing someone cares about your spiritual well-being. 💗 Plus, it’s such a sweet & encouraging thing to do TOGETHER, especially with the new Unshaken theme. So check out our Etsy shop while the getting’s good!

As we walk into this holiday season that can bring along with it difficult feelings and various temptations, let’s remember to focus on the One who can deliver us from sin & sits with us in our suffering. ❤️ ~Kristen

Not able to – it comes out way too big and cuts off most of the content and nothing happens when I click to edit, make the copy smaller, etc – nothing works.
I’m so sorry you had issues with printing, Rebecca! I know that’s frustrating. Have you been able to print our plans in the past?
