As we arrive in mid-April, we’ve got a few new freebies to go along with our Sanctification Bible study. =) First off, we have a couple of graphics (an iPhone wallpaper and a Facebook cover graphic, both with different themed verses) and then you can also download a list of journaling questions to go along with the Sanctification scripture writing plan for this month. =)
This verse on our iPhone wallpaper below is the one I picked for my memory verse last week. And before you start to think too highly of me – don’t. 😉 Just know that’s the first memory verse I’ve had IN AWHILE. I’m not the best at memorizing things, but I set my mind to memorize these verses and I fell in love with them! I’m trying to memorize more verses this year. I love the verse about hiding God’s Word in your heart, so that you don’t sin against him – that is so key, isn’t it?? (Psalm 119:11) Well, I would highly recommend the one on sanctification for our new iPhone wallpaper! I feel like a whole lesson could be taught on these two verses. =) I also played around with the divider so that your phone’s day/time display should fit right on top. 😉

The verse for our Facebook cover picture would also make a great memory verse! I may do that one soon, too!

We also have the journaling questions for the Sanctification study ready today! You may notice that there are a few questions that remain the same each month (i.e., how is _______________ described? Or what questions do you still have about ____________________?) And then we readjust the rest of the questions for each topic to continue stirring some deeper introspection. (There are 11 questions in total this time.) What’s the use of reading (or even WRITING) these scriptures if we are not really internalizing them and their meanings? Our journaling questions are meant to do just that! As always, I highly recommend printing the pages out and actually writing your answers. We’re going to get the most benefit from fully formed thoughts that way. =) You don’t even have to answer ALL of them at once! Maybe one or two a day?
These journaling questions for sanctification are also perfect for sharing with your Christian sisters, your kids (if they’re old enough), and discussing with your husband/significant other.

and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you, so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.
1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
Be well and stay in the Word, sisters! Be looking for a lesson on sanctification soon! 😉 ~Kristen
