When we were deciding which themes to include in our Scripture writing this year, we knew we had to follow the Abraham plan with this month’s Scripture writing plan: Covenant.
God’s covenant with Abraham was special, but it wasn’t the only covenant He made with man. God has always invited His creation into a covenantal relationship with Him. He longs to be with us, but He never forces us to love Him. A covenant requires two willing parties. He sets the terms, and it’s up to us to accept or reject them.
As we write our monthly scriptures, we can better understand the seriousness of the situation and the warnings against breaking a covenant. We also see that those warnings are perfectly balanced by the multitude of blessings that come with being in a relationship with a faithful, steadfast, and merciful God. ❤️
September’s plan also features a Bible study that goes along with this month’s theme, and we’d love to have you join us! (BONUS: This study goes beautifully with the “Grafted In” and “Abraham” studies).

(If it prompts you to log in, just close out that popup box, and you should be able to see the plan.) You can also find the Covenant scripture writing plan in the Chosen Extras as a FREE download. (You will have to scroll down to find it in September’s resources.) Sometimes we get a person or two messaging us who cannot download the plan from Dropbox. Hopefully, this helps!
