Christy is the wife of Josh Cook, puplit minister of the church of Christ at Millview in Franklin, Tennessee. They have been married almost 18 years and have five children: Canaan, Caia (pronounced like Kya), Carmody, Jude, and Jago (pronounced “Jaygo”).
Christy graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Social Work. She went on to train in the U. S. Army where she became an x-ray tech. She has worked in healthcare for over 17 years and currently works in the Neuro/Interventional Radiology Department at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
She has been a Christian for over 25 years. She has participated in foreign missions to Fiji and France. She teaches regular Bible classes and has spoken at ladies’ days and retreats in Michigan, Georgia, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
Christy has a passion for writing and loves to read, play games, and plan events. She loves to travel and has visited 14 countries.
