To say that we’re looking forward to this year’s Scripture Writing Plan is an understatement. I don’t know about you, but I need this plan. For every month of 2026, and for each Scripture Writing Plan this year, our focus is going to be on God.
Sounds obvious, right? Of course we should focus on God!
But do we? Really? I don’t mean saying the right words or going through the motions. How often do we take the time to pause and contemplate God’s nature, His characteristics, and His plan? It’s easy to make worship – and life – about us. What is God’s plan for my life? How do I find my purpose in God’s kingdom? I want to use my talents for God! Behold our GOD. It’s not that we don’t matter. We do. But the reason we matter is because God is, was, and is to come. God says we can be saved because He sent the Son, part of God, who became flesh, lived a sinless life, became the perfect sacrifice, and miraculously rose again to life. He comforts and instructs us through the Holy Spirit, part of God, who inspired the Word that has the power to save our souls. God is omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent. He is purity, holiness, perfection. The depth of His perfect attributes can never be fully explored or fully known this side of heaven. How amazing that we get to take an entire year and look upon God!

Scripture Writing for Kids
You’ve asked, and we’ve listened! Several of our writers have used our plans in the past for their children’s handwriting practice, as well as their daily Bible reading. We are now working on a Scripture Writing Plan specially designed for kids! These plans will include shorter passages, plain font for easy readability, and gender-neutral graphics, so girls AND boys can use them. 😉
