We’re very excited to begin 2023 with our yearly theme and January’s Scripture Writing Plan: Radiant. Why “radiant,” you ask?

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus” {Acts 4:13}.
A dear sister pointed out this verse to our Tapestry group not long ago. (Don’t know what a Tapestry group is? Ask me. It’s a game-changer.)
It’s a verse I’ve read numerous times, but I’d always focused on the first part. Our sweet sister emphasized that last phrase, which made all the difference.
When we chose Radiant as our 2023 theme, we weren’t thinking about shiny baubles or jewelry or a post-makeover glow. We were thinking more along the lines of Matthew 5:16 (let your light shine) and Psalm 34:5 (those who look to him are radiant). 😉
Of all the resolutions one can make going into the new year, there is no shortage of spiritual goals. Some are reading the Bible in a year, some are writing through the New Testament, some are resolving to pray every day, some are resolving to do more service, and the list continues.
What better way to end a year than to say, “People can recognize that I’ve been with Jesus.”
So in pursuit of being with Jesus, we’re offering January’s Scripture Writing Plan: Radiant. You’ll write verses that demonstrate how an encounter with God changes a person and how His light should shine through us and in us.
To go along with our writing plans, we’re launching a UNIQUE study later this month! It’s specifically designed to get you in the Word in creative and engaging ways. Stay tuned for our Creative Bible Study course, launching on January 16! 😉

Hi, looking forward to January’s plan. However, what is a tapestry group? Thank!
Hi, Becky! Tapestry groups are our women’s mentoring groups. We talk regularly, pray for one another, meet together to study & fellowship, etc. They’re intergenerational, which I LOVE! Everyone is bringing something different to the table.
That’s awesome. I’m part of a Bible study with a circle of women that are friends for 50+ years. This sounds like what we do (minus the inter generational but we pray for our children, and grandchildren). It sounds like we might be a Tapestry Group and didn’t know it. Thank you for all you do and the insights you share with us.
What is a tapestry group? Thanks for all you do
Hi, Chris! Tapestry groups are our women’s mentoring groups. They’re amazing! I’ve gained wisdom and Christ-centered friendships across generations. 💕
This is my first time …I am confused about Day 1 Exodus 34:29, 34 a…Does that mean I should write out the verse and then what?
Flora – sorry we’re just now seeing this! It’s chapter 34, verse 29 and then also verse 34a (just the first part of the verse)
