Fathers are important. They provide a physical, albeit imperfect, type of the divine. They are a child’s first glimpse into the love of God. Unfortunately, living in a fallen world means not everyone experiences the love of a physical father. But God the Father’s love touches every soul. This month’s plan will direct our eyes to Father God, and what a good Father He is.
For such a holy and perfect God to step down into our lives–our messy, unholy, far-from-perfect lives–and get involved there daily? It’s truly amazing. He is always longing to hear from us. Forever longing to help us. Offering protection and guidance and love, so much love.
Whether Father’s Day brings you gratitude and joy, sadness and loss, or perhaps a mixture of many emotions, we invite you to spend time in gratitude for THE Father, who makes every earthly blessing possible.
