Hola, ladies! I’m Kelly, and I am absolutely delighted and grateful to be a part of the work here at The Ruffled Mango.
I live in Lakeland, FL, with my husband, Joshua, and our two daughters, Caroline and Annabelle. Caroline is our serious soul, while Annabelle is full of joie de vivre and snacks.
I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Spanish. I taught Spanish & ELL (English Language Learning) for 8 years before becoming a work-at-home mom. I have a passion for teaching, creative projects, and traveling. I’ve traveled to several countries, but going to Honduras on mission trips has been my favorite.
My husband coaches women’s basketball at Southeastern University, so you can find us at the gym much of the time. When we’re not there, we’re with the church or eating Mexican food. Sometimes we’re eating Mexican food with friends from church after going to the gym for a game. We like to mix it up.
I love tacos, mystery novels, and puns. I’m also a bit of a minimalist. No toys are safe.
